Well it's the day after Thanksgiving. I hope everyone had a great times with family and loved ones. I had the good fortune to have my family prepare three turkeys. One traditionally cooked, one smoked and the third Fried. The smoked was off the charts good and the Fried was a close second.
I managed to avoid a tryptophan coma and was able to take in some Turkey Day MW2. This game is awesome. I'll be the first to admit that I am not a fan of the FPS but as far as FPS goes MW2 takes the cake. I had a blast fragging away and nice party of 33rd. It was a great night cap on the day. My only regret is that I didn't take any of that smoked turkey home with me to enjoy all the while fraggin with the 33rd. Anyway, hope everyone travelled safe and had great time.
hizzer rocking a looser belt than the day before yesterday. And I'm out.

Blizzard Reviewed on Socom.com Blog
Yes, that's right. Sony has learned that if leak a little here and little there that we the loyal Socom fans will put our fangs away. I am glad to see the flow of information but worry it may be a day late and buck short for this storied franchise. True 1.6 and Coldfront will revitalize the game but there are other options now that people will not want to necessarily tear themselves away from.
Socom Confrontation Cold Front will be arriving in the next three months is my honest opinion. I am hoping for 2009 but realistically and with the track record of SCEA and Slant Six Games I am weary that 2009 is on the map. When it does I hope that it not filled with bugs and exploits that have marred the entire Slant Six entry into Next gen gaming from the word go.
Blizzard is one of my old favorites and seeing it rendered in its next gen glory made me realize where Slant Six did do a great job is graphics. They are tight. So with Vigilance, Blizzards, and company coming down the pike this winter. I will be buying it right when it drops and although I am thouroughly enjoying MW2 I will be pleased when Socom returns to it wonderful flawed glory.
hizzer 10-4 good buddy!
